In some cases, it is possible to open a series of images in several windows.
This is the perfect answer for when you want to quickly show someone a bunch of photos that you have in a folder.

Press the green full screen button at the top left and you will have a quick slideshow. You can use the arrow keys to quickly switch between images. The preview will open a new window as usual, but with a sidebar showing all the photos you just opened. You could drag an entire folder, but the order of the files got strange in our tests: better just drag the files. The simplest thing you can do is go to a folder, press Command + A to choose everything and then drag everything to Preview. Next, drag all the images you want in your impromptu slideshow to the Preview icon. I've been using a Mac for years and I thought this was the end, but it turns out may use Quick Preview to quickly see a bunch of images you just have to specifically open them in Preview at the same time.įirst, make sure Preview is on your dock if not, the devil.
